IDEA 1: RAMADAN CALENDAR

In this app, a user can browse through the calendar, get Seher & Iftar timings, learn about daily offers and do much more! The app is fully customizable in terms of the brand colour, look, feel, font, etc. Below is the demo link to the app.

IDEA 2: THE #RAMADANCELEBRATIONS APP (Instagram or Twitter #hashtag contest + Facebook Newsfeed)      

During Ramadan, Instagram and Twitter activity shoots up. Both are heavily hashtag driven and user generated content driven. Say your running a #hashtag contest on both platforms. Using our technology you can publish a Newsfeed App that showcases all moderated entries.
With our platform, search for entries, moderate them, sort them and publish as a Newsfeed App or as a microsite. In the newsfeed app, there will be sections like View Entries, Take Part, Winners Get, etc. In addition to showcasing approved Instagram or twitter content, we can encourage participation.

There will be a basket into which users have to collect only the Halal foods. For every Haram food collected the user looses points. IDEA 4: CREATE MAGIC IN YOUR kITCHEN THIS RAMADAN!

This is a time when people start searching for new recipes they could try. Through the Newsfeed, users can upload a recipe. There will also be a search button to search for any particular recipe. We can have pre-loaded recipes, we can have only recipes that show up that are approved by the brand team. Similar kind of app was done as a demo for Pillsbury and 7up, have a look at the samples here.

IDEA 5: MATCH IT RIGHT (OR RAMADAN MEMOERY GAME)

Users have to remember the elements and solve the puzzle. There will be a number of cards which depict the Ramadan season. Some cards can have product/brand related info as well. They can select only 2 cards at a time. If the cards selected do not match they close and user keeps trying until all cards match. The one who finishes the games in the shortest time wins.

IDEA 6: WISH A LOVED ONE THIS RAMADAN!

Users can send their loved one an e-greeting. There will be 3-4 e-greeting card templates. Users have to select one template and write their message. The recipient will get the greeting card in their email inbox. (Note – It’s not possible to send via FB message.) So the flow will be something like, select who you want to send a special greeting card to, select card, write message, submit some details and send.
Best messages can win gifts. The greeting card templates can also be branded if required.

 

IDEA 7: RAMADAN SPIN THE WHEEL

Spin the wheel and win something, get spiritual advice, learn something, know about a brand/product, etc. One portion in the wheel can say Win something or Jackpot. Basically it’ll be a fun app where you spin the wheel and engage with the audience. We can have multiple spins or limit spins to 3 and then to earn more spins, fill a form, visit a store to get a code, etc.
OR, we can have 2 concentric wheels spinning in opposite directions and each spin can reveal your good deed/task of the day.

IDEA 8: FIND THE HIDDEN RAMADAN DISCOUNT!

There’s a hidden discount or coupon under one cup. Users have to play this fun game to follow the coupon and identify under which cup it continues to be hidden. We can add levels to this, or we can say only after the user passes 3 levels, the coupon is revealed or can be redeemed. The Ramadan connect can be something where, in the other 2 cups Ramadan related items are hidden and a Ramadan factoid is revealed. We can also add the Ramadan connect here based on the brand/agency input.

IDEA 9: THE RAMADAN MAZE GAME

A maze game where we have to help (Kareem), the character find his way to the mosque. (Note, we can have 3-4 characters from which user can pick to proceed and play the game.) This can be a fun game where on the way to the Mosque, he has to answer a question about a product, etc. There can also be a timer where within 60 or 90 seconds he has to reach the Mosque. There are many more gaming elements we can add if required.

IDEA 10: SHOP AND WIN THIS RAMADAN!

There are different variations of this Newsfeed App that we can build. Few options:
1. Shop for a certain amount during Ramadan. Register their bill number/amount on the Newsfeed app and a week before EID they get a gift voucher or a discount.
2. Shop for any amount, enter bill details or amount, a certain gift/voucher is given based on value of bill.
3. Going shopping? Enter your details, name, email, mobile, where are you planning to shop, what are you planning to shop, etc, we will give you a customized coupon based your info.
The demo link below is another example we built for Gillette which gives users an option to pick a coupon that they can redeem. Coupons can be time sensitive and can be customized based on gender, age, location, etc. We can even generate alpha-numeric discount codes if required.

IDEA 11: THIS HOLY MONTH, SURPRISE YOURSELF EVERY DAY!

This is a Ramadan calendar where every day there is something hidden. People have to click on each date to open and see what’s in it. On some days it could be an offer and on some days it could be a message. Everyday there’s something new. This is a variation of Idea 1, while in idea 1 it’s purely the Ramadan calendar with details of prayer time, fasts, etc. Also note, the user can ONLY open that day’s surprise. So this keeps them coming back every day to see what’s in store during the Ramadan season.

IDEA 12: UNSCRAMBLE TO WIN THIS RAMADAN!

Users have to unscramble the word that’s related to Ramadan within 20 seconds. There will also be a clue to help them. We can have 5 unscrambles and 3 can be Ramadan related, 2 can be brand/product related. We can also have easy/medium/difficult levels.

IDEA 13: DAILY CALL TO PRAYER

A newsfeed app where users have to register their mobile before or during Ramadan. Every day at the time of prayer (or at the time when they have to begin/break their fast) they get an SMS reminder on their mobile. Each message can also have a surprise element like an offer or quote or good deed of the day, etc.
We can also have time-bound offers, i.e., redeem this before Iftar or before a certain day. SMSes can be customized to that person and their gender, likes, etc, based on the information they submit and can also have custom discount codes.

IDEA 14: RAMADAN WORD SEARCH

Within 60 seconds users have to find all the words relating to Ramadan. The one who solves the game within the shortest time wins. We can add different stages here, where once the user clears certain levels they get a gift.
Hidden in the word search can be brand name, brand product, offer info, etc. The game is followed by a form fill. A similar demo is given in the sample link below.

IDEA 15: YOUR SPECIAL DAY DURING RAMADAN?

If you know someone who is celebrating a special day – Birthday, Wedding Anniversary, etc – during the holy month of Ramadan tell us and we’ll help you make it special for them. There are many things we can do with this kind of a Newsfeed app. The brand/agency can ideate and decide how to use this.

IDEA 16: REGISTRATIONS/SIGN UPS TO SALES/EVENTS

We can drive sign-ups and registrations right from the FB newsfeed through Newsfeed Apps. The sign ups/registrations could be for Eid events, exclusive product launches during Ramadan or Sales during Ramadan. These could be incentivized through exclusive discounts or vouchers on immediate sign ups or first 100 sign ups, etc.

IDEA 17: SCRATCH TO REVEAL

We can have an interesting suspenseful newsfeed app where the user enters and scratches for something to be revealed. The reveal could be an offer, a code, a hint, or even a warm Ramadan message depending on what the brand wants. Below is a similar Newsfeed. We can add additional levels and different ways to scratch and reveal if required.

IDEA 18: RAMADAN JUMPING STARS

This is an endless game where users have to make the Star jump from moon to moon in a way that it does not fall down. Higher the players score, higher the chances of winning. Once the star falls down the game is over. In between we could also have the brands products wherein if the star jumps on the product, the score doubles.

IDEA 19: COLLECT THE LANTERNS GAME!

Since lanterns symbolize the festive season, this is a game where, whenever the character lifts his basket users have to click to place the lantern in it.
Users have to drop in as many lanterns to reach a high score. There would be only 10 lives. For every lantern missed, one life is lost.

IDEA 20: RAMADAN OR EID COUNTDOWN APP!

A newsfeed app that’s flexible and is built based on brand/agency inputs, where there is a countdown to Ramadan or Eid or any day during the holy month of Ramadan. Aspects like offers, deals, info, puzzles, etc can be integrated into the countdown apps. We can even ask people to register or sign up so we can notify them once the countdown is over and the sale is ready.

IDEA 21: GIVE BACK THIS RAMADAN!

A newsfeed app that is kind of a registration drive where users have to register and for every 5, 10 or 20 users that register or like or do something, the brand gives back – The brand giving back can be done in many ways – contribute to a charity, feed a child/needy person, etc.

IDEA 22: RAMADAN JAR OF GOOD DEEDS!

This will be a question and answer newsfeed app. There will be 5-10 multiple choice questions a user has to answer. Based on the player’s answer the Jar of Good Deeds will fill. Finally, some prizes can be given out based on how filled up the Jar is.

IDEA 23: RAMADAN LUCKY DRAW! (OR SWEEPSKATES)

This is simple newsfeed app where users can enter a lucky draw or a sweepstakes any time during the 30 day period and on Eid, there is a lucky draw and 3 or 5 winners are announced where they win something big. There is a possibility to do an online-offline connect, where users have to come to the venue for the lucky draw. This campaign can also be altered in such a way that the lucky draw happens every 5 days or 10 days. This is also a very good way to collect database.

IDEA 24: 60 SECONDS OF PEACE

An interesting and out of the box newsfeed app idea where users have nothing to do but just look at the screen for 60sec. They cannot change the tab or even move the mouse. They just have to look at the screen for 60 seconds, if they change tab, touch the mouse or key board, they have to start again. In the end we can have the brand connect saying, now that you’ve relaxed for 60 seconds, we have something for you.
